The North Carolina Disaster Symposium (NCDS) works towards ensuring our state is capable of providing our residents and our guests the very best healthcare when they need it most. The NCDS educates, updates, and informs decision makers in healthcare with best practices and emergency trends in healthcare preparedness. The NCDS is designed to foster relationships, partnerships and agreements to keep NC healthcare entities operational during and after a devastating event.
The NCDS has been held annually since 2014, excluding 2017 and during Covid, and has been attended by more than 250 participants annually. We anticipate that this will be another great year for the NCDS, with a target audience of 300 attendees with the following backgrounds:
* Hospital administrators * Long term care facility administrators * Hospice administrators * Home health administrators * EMS administrators/providers * Local/State/Federal public health agency administrators/ providers * Local/State emergency management agencies
